Business Manager – Roles and Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Service
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for mobile phones, accessories, and service plans.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints, queries, and returns professionally.
- Develop strategies to increase walk-in customers and repeat purchases.
Store Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the mobile retail store.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store layout and display.
- Ensure all products are properly tagged and priced.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Inventory and Stock Management
- Manage inventory of mobile phones, accessories, SIM cards, and recharge vouchers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and distributors for stock procurement.
- Conduct regular stock audits to prevent theft, loss, or damage.
- Track fast- and slow-moving products to plan promotions or offers.
Staff Supervision and Training
- Train and supervise sales staff and technicians.
- Schedule employee shifts and monitor attendance.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales goals and maintain high service standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
Marketing and Promotions
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and new product launches.
- Collaborate with mobile brands and distributors for marketing support.
Financial Management
- Manage daily cash flow, billing, and POS operations.
- Maintain records of sales, expenses, and profit margins.
- Prepare periodic sales and performance reports.
- Deposit daily collections and ensure proper accounting..
Compliance and Security
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations (billing, tax, and warranty norms).
- Oversee shop security, including CCTV monitoring and employee integrity.
- Maintain compliance with data protection and customer privacy norms.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Maintain a customer database for follow-ups and loyalty programs.
- Promote post-sale services such as warranty claims, repairs, and upgrades.
- Use feedback to improve customer experience and services.
Business Growth and Reporting
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Suggest new business opportunities (e.g., service center, EMI schemes, online sales).
- Prepare weekly/monthly business performance reports for the management
