Car Detailer

1. Core Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality car detailing and car care services as per PROTINT standards, ensuring superior finish, customer satisfaction, and safe handling of customer vehicles.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Vehicle Detailing Operations

Perform exterior detailing: washing, decontamination, polishing, paint correction, waxing, and ceramic/graphene coating support.

Perform interior detailing: vacuuming, shampooing, leather care, dashboard dressing, odor removal, and sanitation.

Assist in installation-related services where applicable (PPF support, trim protection, accessories fitting under supervision).

Follow service SOPs strictly for each package offered by PROTINT.

B. Quality Control & Finish Standards

Ensure swirl-free, stain-free, and spot-free finish before vehicle delivery.

Conduct self-inspection and peer inspection before final handover.

Rectify defects immediately if identified during or after detailing.

Maintain PROTINT’s premium quality benchmarks consistently.

C. Customer Vehicle Care & Safety

Handle customer vehicles with utmost care—no scratches, dents, or damage.

Use seat covers, floor mats, and steering covers during service.

Follow safe driving practices within premises.

Report any pre-existing damages to the supervisor before starting work.

D. Equipment, Tools & Chemical Handling

Operate machines (polishers, vacuum cleaners, steamers) safely and correctly.

Use approved PROTINT-recommended chemicals only.

Maintain tools, pads, towels, and equipment in clean, usable condition.

Report tool damage, malfunction, or chemical shortages promptly.

E. Workplace Discipline & Hygiene

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work bay.

Follow uniform, grooming, and personal hygiene standards.

Dispose waste and chemical residues as per safety guidelines.

Adhere to workplace safety rules at all times.

F. Time Management & Productivity

Complete assigned jobs within committed timelines.

Coordinate with team members to manage workload efficiently.

Minimize rework by doing the job right the first time.

Support peak-time operations without compromising quality.

G. Customer Interaction & Professional Conduct

Communicate politely and professionally with customers when required.

Explain basic service processes if asked, without overpromising.

Escalate customer concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Represent PROTINT brand values in behavior and attitude.

H. Compliance & Reporting

Follow instructions from supervisors and workshop managers.

Update job cards and service checklists accurately.

Report incidents, damages, or customer complaints without delay.

Comply with company policies, safety norms, and confidentiality rules.
