CCTV Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (analog & IP).
• Run and terminate cables (Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, fiber, etc.).
• Mount cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related network equipment.
• Diagnose and repair CCTV or network issues in the field.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure installations meet company, safety, and industry standards.
• Provide client support and training on system operations.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV/security system installation or related field.
• Strong understanding of IP networks, video storage, and access control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of power tools and hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, or Honeywell.
• Knowledge of access control, alarm, and intercom systems.
