Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chefs and Stewards to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Commi Chef, you will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene, and contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen.


Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
  2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
  3. Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of our customers and team members.
  4. Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  5. Assist in the receiving, storage, and rotation of food supplies.
  6. Uphold high standards of quality and presentation for all dishes.
  7. Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and control costs.
  8. Stay updated on new techniques and trends in culinary arts.


Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Commi 3 Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
  2. Knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques preferred.
  3. Basic understanding of food safety principles and regulations.
  4. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  7. Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
