Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chefs and Stewards to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Commi Chef, you will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene, and contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of our customers and team members.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Assist in the receiving, storage, and rotation of food supplies.
- Uphold high standards of quality and presentation for all dishes.
- Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and control costs.
- Stay updated on new techniques and trends in culinary arts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commi 3 Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and regulations.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
