Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the database systems are functioning efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training sessions for junior team members to enhance their skills. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for database management. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
