Job Description: Deputy Manager – Current Accounts

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Deputy Manager to join our team. This role is focused on driving the acquisition and management of Current Account (CA) portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking or NBFC sectors, with a proven track record of building corporate relationships and managing high-value business accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition: Identify and acquire new high-value Current Account customers, including SMEs, traders, and corporate entities.

Portfolio Management: Maintain and deepen existing relationships to increase the CASA (Current Account Savings Account) ratio and capture maximum wallet share.

Product Promotion: Educate clients on business banking solutions, including CMS (Cash Management Services), trade finance, and digital banking platforms.

Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other financial products such as business loans, insurance, and investment services.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all account opening processes follow strict KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) guidelines.

Market Analysis: Keep track of competitor offerings and market trends to provide feedback for product improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a Bank or NBFC.

Education: Bachelor’s degree , Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Skills: * Strong understanding of banking operations and Current Account products.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work under sales targets and pressure.

Proficiency in local languages and English.
