Fabrication Engineer

Job Description – Fabricator (FGC / Aluminium / Wood)

Position: Fabricator

Experience: 1 – 5 years (Experience in Aluminium or Wood preferred)

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Employment Type: Full-time

We are a leading GFRP/FGC manufacturing company based in Coimbatore, specializing in advanced composite profiles and solutions for infrastructure, industrial, and construction applications. Our products are used in precast, architectural, and engineering projects. We are expanding our production team and looking for skilled Fabricators to work on FGC profiles and related fabrication activities.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Perform fabrication work using FGC / GFRP profiles, aluminium, and wood

Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and fabrication requirements

Cutting, drilling, fitting, assembling, and finishing of profiles and components

Operate basic fabrication tools and machines safely

Ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy during fabrication

Coordinate with production and engineering teams for job execution

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area

Support production and site-related fabrication work when required

⚠️ The scope of work is not limited to the above responsibilities and may evolve based on project and production needs

🔹 Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience in aluminium or wood fabrication is mandatory

Experience in GFRP / FGC / composite materials is an added advantage

Ability to handle hand tools and fabrication equipment

Basic understanding of measurements and drawings

Willingness to learn new materials and fabrication techniques

🔹 Language Preference

Tamil – Mandatory

Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu – Good to have
