About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for style, color, and detail, and a deep understanding of fashion trends, textiles, and garment construction. You will be responsible for designing collections that align with our brand’s identity, resonate with our target audience, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop seasonal fashion collections from concept to final product.
• Conduct trend forecasting and market research to create mood boards, color palettes, and design themes.
• Create original sketches, technical drawings, and CADs for clothing lines.
• Select fabrics, embellishments, and trims that align with the design and budget.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams to bring designs to life.
• Ensure fit and quality through sample reviews, fittings, and adjustments.
• Attend fashion shows, supplier meetings, and trade events to stay updated on new materials and trends.
• Work with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure cohesive brand presentation.
• Manage multiple design projects and deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in fashion design (luxury, couture, or ready-to-wear preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing original designs, technical skills, and creativity.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, draping, and pattern-making.
• Good communication, time management, and team collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices.
• Experience with tech packs and working with offshore production teams.
• Familiarity with fashion retail trends in [specific market, e.g., South India or global luxury].
