Field Sales Executive- Software Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Field Sales Executive to promote and sell software solutions by visiting clients on-site. The role involves identifying customer needs, demonstrating software value, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through field sales by visiting shops and businesses in assigned areas.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable software features or modules.

• Present and demonstrate software solutions to prospective clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers for renewals and upselling

opportunities.

• Coordinate with internal teams (Pre-sales, Product, Support) to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.

• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and periodic sales reports.

• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or any discipline.

• 0–3 years of experience in software or SaaS sales (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to understand software products and explain their business value to customers.

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with fieldwork.

• Basic familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Experience in B2B software or SaaS sales.

• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or industry-specific software solutions.

• Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles.
