Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management preferred

Job Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction at Hotel CAG Pride. The role involves supervising room attendants, public area staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring quality control, and supporting the Executive Housekeeper in overall department management.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily housekeeping activities including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house cleaning.
• Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Ensure timely cleaning of check-in, occupied, and departure rooms.
• Monitor the upkeep, maintenance, and cleanliness of all hotel floors and public areas.
• Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status and guest requests.
• Attend to guest complaints promptly and ensure corrective action.
• Staff Supervision & TrainingAllocate work schedules and duty rosters for the housekeeping team.
• Train new staff on housekeeping procedures, hygiene standards, and safety practices.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with hotel SOPs.
• Maintain discipline and a positive work environment within the department.
• Inventory & Supplies ManagementMaintain stock records of linens, cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and equipment.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and report shortages.
• Ensure proper use of chemicals and equipment to prevent wastage.
• Quality Control & SafetyEnforce hygiene, health, and safety regulations across all housekeeping operations.
• Ensure proper handling of guest laundry and linen.
• Follow safety guidelines for chemical usage and equipment handling.
• Report maintenance issues to the Engineering department for timely resolution.
• Coordination & ReportingPrepare daily housekeeping reports and room inspection checklists.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments for seamless operations.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper in administrative tasks and departmental planning.
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of housekeeping operations and SOPs.
• Excellent communication and leadership ability.
