HR GENERALIST – JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Overview:The HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing various human resources functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting employees in all HR-related matters. This role involves recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and administrative HR tasks.

  1. Key Responsibilities:Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in the hiring process, including job postings, screening, and interviews.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Ensure new hires complete all necessary paperwork and are integrated smoothly.
  1. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by organizing engagement activities.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and conflict resolution as per company policies.
  1. Performance Management:

  • Support the performance appraisal process and provide feedback mechanisms.
  • Work with managers to address performance issues and training needs.
  1. Compliance & Policies:

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain and update HR policies as per legal and organizational requirements.
  • Assist in audits and compliance reporting.
  1. Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Coordinate with the finance team for payroll processing and attendance management.
  • Administer employee benefits, leaves, and other entitlements.
  1. Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and help organize development programs.
  • Support career growth initiatives and succession planning.
  1. HR Documentation & Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
  • Ensure proper documentation of exit interviews, terminations, and employee records.
  • Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably as a Generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Work Environment:Full-time position in a corporate office setting.
  • May require occasional travel for recruitment or training purposes.
