Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, organised, and people-oriented HR Executive to join Dhanam’s Head Office team in Coimbatore. This is a generalist HR role supporting the full HR lifecycle across our expanding branch network — from talent acquisition and onboarding to payroll coordination, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth NBFC environment and take ownership of HR processes with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for branch roles including Branch Managers, ABMs, LAP Executives, Gold Appraisers, and Wealth Managers across Tamil Nadu.
• Source candidates through job portals (Apna, Naukri, LinkedIn), social media, employee referrals, walk-ins, and campus channels.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial telephonic interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Maintain an updated recruitment tracker — active positions, pipeline status, offer stage, and joining confirmations.
• Coordinate background verification, reference checks, and pre-joining documentation for selected candidates.
2. Onboarding & Induction
• Manage smooth onboarding of new joiners across all branches — including offer letter issuance, document collection, ID creation, and system access coordination.
• Conduct and coordinate structured induction programs covering company policies, compliance norms, code of conduct, and role-specific orientation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new employees during their first 30 days to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate and complete employee records in the HRIS/HR master file from day one.
3. Payroll Coordination & Statutory Compliance
• Coordinate monthly payroll inputs accurately and on time — including attendance, leave, new joiner and exit data — with the finance / payroll team.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, and LWF for all employees.
• Maintain and update payroll records, salary structures, and compensation revision documentation.
• Assist employees with payroll queries, payslip generation, Form 16, and other compensation-related clarifications.
4. HR Operations & Policy Administration
• Maintain up-to-date HR records, employee files, contracts, confirmation letters, and policy acknowledgements for all employees.
• Track and administer leave, attendance, and working hour records across all branches using the HR system.
• Coordinate issuance of all HR letters — offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, increment letters, and relieving letters.
• Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, updates, and circulars across the organisation.
5. Employee Relations & Engagement
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances, concerns, and queries — providing timely and empathetic resolution.
• Organise and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programmes, team outings, and cultural events.
• Facilitate exit interviews for departing employees and compile feedback for management review.
• Support performance review cycles — coordinating appraisal timelines, collecting appraisal data, and preparing summary reports.
6. Compliance, Reporting & HR Analytics
• Ensure all HR practices adhere to applicable labour laws, Shops & Establishments Act, and RBI NBFC HR compliance requirements.
• Prepare regular HR MIS reports — headcount, attrition, recruitment TAT, training hours, and leave utilisation — for management review.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on employment contract management and labour law matters.
• Support the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) compliance framework including awareness, committee coordination, and case documentation.
