Job Title: Assistant Manager – Sales

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance of the RM team, ensuring effective client engagement, and driving conversions for premium membership plans. This role involves mentoring team members, monitoring sales performance, and implementing strategies to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager must ensure professionalism, confidentiality, and a consultative approach in all client interactions, while also contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and monitor the daily activities of the Sales Relationship Manager team to ensure productivity and target achievement.

• Guide team members in handling high-value and elite clients with a consultative sales approach.

• Review and analyze team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training support.

• Drive the team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.

• Ensure high standards of client interaction, professionalism, and confidentiality across all touchpoints.

• Handle escalations and support the team in closing critical or high-value deals.

• Monitor CRM data accuracy and ensure proper documentation of all client interactions.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Quality, Training) to improve overall efficiency.

• Identify gaps in performance and implement action plans to enhance team effectiveness.

• Maintain strong relationships with key clients when required and support retention strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (Business, Marketing, or Communication preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in RM, telesales, or customer relationship roles, with at least 1–2 years in a team handling or leadership role.

• Language: Fluency in Malayalam and Tamil (mandatory).

• Experience in handling premium or high-value clients will be an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of CRM tools and team performance metrics.
