About the job:

We are seeking a skilled Forms Manual Testing QA Software Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing with a focus on forms validation and processing systems. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of forms within our systems through meticulous testing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of forms and documents to ensure they meet functional and technical requirements.
• Validate the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of forms within the P&C insurance systems.
• Develop detailed and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on functional and technical specifications.
• Maintain and update test cases as necessary to reflect changes in requirements or systems.
• Identify, document, and manage defects using defect tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Ensure adherence to established quality standards, processes, and best practices throughout the testing process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing.
• Good understanding of General Insurance concepts.
• Hands-on experience with forms testing and validation.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.
• Experience with defect management and test data management.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as ADO, Jira, HP ALM etc.
• Good understanding of regression testing techniques and practices.
• Proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.
• Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.

Good to Have:

• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB INS21/24, or Agile certifications are desirable
