We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing clinical statements and assigning standard codes using CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II classification systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze patient medical records to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation to support assigned codes.
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and company policies.
• Work with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify information when needed.
• Participate in audits and implement feedback for process improvement.
• Keep current on coding guidelines and insurance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certification: CPC, CCS, or equivalent AAPC/AHIMA certification (required).
• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in life sciences, health information management, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
• Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
