ob Title: Welder (Sheet Metal Manufacturing)Job Summary:A Welder is responsible for joining sheet metal components using various welding techniques to ensure strong, precise, and high-quality fabrication. The role involves reading drawings, preparing materials, and maintaining safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

• Key Responsibilities:Perform welding operations such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Prepare and align metal parts before welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning).
• Ensure proper weld quality, strength, and finish as per specifications.
• Inspect welded joints and carry out rework if required.
• Operate welding machines and related tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow 5S practices.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Coordinate with fabrication and production teams for timely completion of jobs.
• Required Skills:Good knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with measuring tools (vernier caliper, scale, etc.).
• Physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
