• Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual (conventional) milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate tools, cutters, and materials for each job.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Deburr, clean, and inspect finished components.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Report production or quality issues to the supervisor.
