Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the software solutions meet the evolving demands of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Ability to define / propose process changes; and to client /stakeholder interactions - Involved in FSD preparations, carried out FUT, SIT & UAT during the phases related to business - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams - Lead the design and development of SAP Implementation Project - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP S4 Development for HANA - Strong understanding of SAP S4 HANA database concepts - Must have experience majority in SAP S4 Implementation and related Modules having experience in US / Europe clients. (for Private / SAP Public Cloud) - Expertise in ABAP development with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. - Proficiency in designing and creating CDS views, including associations, annotations, and calculations. - In-depth knowledge of the RAP framework, including its core components like CDS views, OData services, and application services. - Utilize the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to create OData services, exposing business data through a standardized RESTful API, enabling seamless integration with Fiori applications. - Deploy and manage SAP HANA applications on the SAP HANA Cloud platform, utilizing its native capabilities and cloud-based services. - Familiarity with deploying and managing applications on the SAP HANA Cloud platform, including cloud-specific features and considerations. - Build custom applications using ABAP on HANA, including complex logic, data manipulation, and integration with other SAP systems. - Ability to analyze business requirements, design data models, and optimize data structures for efficient HANA processing. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA: Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA business processes and integration with HANA cloud applications. - Problem-solving and Debugging: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to HANA and RAP development. - Experience in developing and optimizing ABAP code for SAP HANA - Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development - Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development
