Production Manager

Job Summary:The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all manufacturing activities in the sheet metal facility. The role ensures production targets are met with high quality, optimal cost, and strict adherence to safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• :Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Ensure timely completion of sheet metal fabrication (cutting, bending, welding, assembly)
• Monitor production processes and optimize efficiency and productivity
• Maintain quality standards and reduce rejection/rework rates
• Manage manpower, machine utilization, and workflow on the shop floor
• Coordinate with design, purchase, and quality departments
• Implement cost control measures and reduce material wastage
• Ensure preventive maintenance of machines and minimize downtime
• Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and compliance with industry standards
• Train, supervise, and motivate production team members
• Analyze production data and prepare reports for management
