Project Engineer

A solar power plant project engineer's job description includes planning, designing, and executing solar projects from start to finish, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring project compliance with standards and regulations, and managing budget, schedule, and quality. Core responsibilities

• Project planning and execution: Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and engineering to final commissioning and closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Design and engineering: Develop and optimize solar PV and thermal system designs, including site layouts, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Stakeholder management: Act as a key point of contact for clients, internal teams, and contractors, coordinating all aspects of the project and providing regular progress updates.
• Site assessment and feasibility: Conduct site visits and technical evaluations to determine project feasibility and the optimal design for installation.
• Procurement and logistics: Assist in the development of Bill of Materials (BOM), and support the procurement of necessary equipment and services.
• Quality and compliance: Ensure all project work complies with technical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. This includes monitoring performance and initiating corrective actions.
• Contract and risk management: Oversee contractor performance and ensure contract clauses are met. Manage technical issues and provide support for resolving them.
