Purchase Assistant

The Purchase Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement process by coordinating with suppliers, tracking purchase orders, maintaining records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials required for operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for materials and services.

• Prepare and process purchase orders based on company requirements.

• Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, delivery schedules, and dispatch details.

• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, invoices, and supplier information.

• Coordinate with accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.

• Monitor stock levels and inform management about reorder requirements.

• Ensure materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

• Communicate with internal departments regarding purchase status and delivery timelines.

• Maintain proper documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

Required Skills:

• Good communication and negotiation skills

• Basic knowledge of procurement procedures

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
