Quality Control Engineer Civil

We are Precast Products manufacturing Company in big scale.

Quality Control ( Construction Skills) 

Key Responsibilities:

* Material Inspection: Testing raw materials (cement, aggregates, steel reinforcement) to ensure they meet the Mix Design requirements.

* Pre-Pour Checks: Verifying mold dimensions, oiling, and the placement/spacing of reinforcement (rebar) and embedded items (lifting anchors, electrical conduits).

* Concrete Testing: Performing slump tests, air content tests, and casting test cubes/cylinders to monitor compressive strength.

* Post-Pour Evaluation: Inspecting finished products for cracks, honeycombing, or dimensional deviations after stripping the molds.

* Documentation: Maintaining "Pour Cards" and non-conformance reports (NCRs) to track the history of every single unit produced.

Quantity Surveying (QS): The Guardians of the Contract

The QS team manages the "dollars and cents." They bridge the gap between the technical drawings and the commercial reality of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Cost Estimation & Bidding: Analyzing blueprints to calculate the exact volume of concrete and weight of steel required to provide accurate quotes.

* Valuations: Calculating the value of work completed each month (Work in Progress) to facilitate progress payments from the client.

* Subcontractor Management: Handling the accounts for logistics companies or specialized labor (like steel fixers) hired by the plant.

* Variation Orders: Documenting any changes in design requested by the client and calculating the additional costs or savings involved.

* Final Accounts: Reconciling all costs at the end of the project to ensure the plant maintained its profit margins.
