Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Refinery Head for a reputed jewellery manufacturing unit. The role involves leading gold & silver refining operations, ensuring high recovery, purity standards, loss control, and safe refinery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Head end-to-end gold/silver refining (scrap, dust, sweeps, off-cuts)
- Ensure maximum recovery, purity & minimal loss
- Oversee chemical refining, melting, alloying & parting
- Maintain refining records, loss reports & SOPs
- Lead and train refinery technicians and helpers
- Ensure safety, compliance & equipment maintenance
- Coordinate with production, QC, inventory & accounts teams
Candidate Profile:
- 5–10+ years’ experience in jewellery refinery operations
- Strong knowledge of gold & silver refining chemistry
- Experience handling refinery teams independently
- Diploma / Degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related field preferred
