Job Description

Job SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing and growing sales across multiple locations within an assigned region. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, managing branch teams, expanding market presence, and ensuring consistent brand and operational standards.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue ManagementAchieve regional monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute region-wise sales strategies
  • Analyze sales performance and market trends
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts
  • Team Leadership & ManagementLead, train, and motivate Branch Managers, Sales Managers, and sales teams
  • Set targets and monitor individual and branch performance
  • Conduct regular reviews, meetings, and field visits
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs
  • Market Expansion & Business DevelopmentIdentify new markets, partners, and growth opportunities
  • Strengthen dealer, distributor, and customer relationships
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies
  • Operations & CoordinationCoordinate with marketing, operations, and finance teams
  • Ensure proper inventory movement and stock availability
  • Support branch operations and resolve escalated issues
  • Customer & Brand ManagementEnsure high standards of customer service across the region
  • Handle key client relationships and major escalations
  • Maintain brand consistency and professional standards
  • Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5–10 years of sales experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multi-location sales operations
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region
  • Preferred ExperienceExperience in retail, electronics, cameras, mobile, or re-commerce industry
  • Strong knowledge of Tamil Nadu market dynamics
  • Experience managing large sales teams
