Sales Promoter


Job Description

As a Sales Promoter at Essex Engineers, you will play a key role in driving product awareness, engaging with customers, and supporting sales growth for the company. Your primary focus will be on promoting our products effectively, explaining their features and benefits to customers, and helping convert inquiries into sales opportunities. If you are energetic, confident, and passionate about customer interaction, this role is for you!


Responsibilities:


1. Product Promotion & Customer Engagement:

• Promote the company’s products to walk-in customers, dealers, and prospective clients

• Explain product features, benefits, and usage clearly to customers

• Demonstrate products whenever required and create customer interest


2. Sales Support:

• Assist customers in identifying the right product based on their needs

• Generate enquiries and support the sales team in converting leads

• Encourage repeat business by maintaining good customer relationships


3. Display & Branding:

• Ensure products are displayed properly and attractively at the showroom / counter / dealer point

• Maintain visibility of promotional materials such as brochures, standees, and banners

• Keep track of stock availability at the display area and inform the concerned team when stock is low


4. Market Feedback & Reporting:

• Collect customer feedback regarding products, pricing, and competitor activities

• Share regular updates on customer preferences and market trends

• Prepare daily / weekly reports on customer interactions, sales enquiries, and product movement


5. Coordination & Support:

• Coordinate with the sales team for follow-up on leads and customer requirements

• Work closely with showroom staff, dealers, and branch teams to improve customer experience

• Support in conducting promotional events, product campaigns, and demonstrations


6. Target & Performance Focus:

• Work towards achieving assigned sales targets and promotional goals

• Take ownership of the assigned location / customer base

• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a professional approach in all activities


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in any field

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Confidence in explaining products and interacting with customers
