Senior Accountant

Required Skills:

• Accounting Knowledge - Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) ,Knowledge of journal entries, ledger, trial balance, and final accounts.
• Software Proficiency-Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks,SAP, or ERP systems),MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
• Attention to Detail - High accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Analytical Skills - Ability to interpret financial data and assist in decision-making.
• Time Management- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and reporting timeline.
• Communication Skills - Clear verbal and written communication for internal and external coordination.
• Regulatory Knowledge - Familiarity with taxation (GST, TDS, VAT etc.)

• Roles and Responsibilities:

• Daily Accounting Operations- Prepare and record journal entries ,Maintain day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Bank Reconciliation - Regularly reconcile bank statements with company records.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable- Manage vendor and customer invoices, Monitor outstanding receivables and follow-up for payments.
• Financial Reporting-Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, Generate MIS reports as required by management.
• Taxation and Compliance-Ensure timely payment and return filing for TDS, GST, etc , Maintain compliance with all statutory regulations.
• Audit Support - Coordinate with internal/external auditors.
• Inventory/Asset Management (if applicable) - Maintain records of fixed assets and inventory (as per company policy).
