Job Description
- TDS (Tax Deducted at Source):
- Timely deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
- Maintenance of TDS records and reconciliation.
- E-TDS:
- Filing E-TDS returns as per statutory timelines.
- Generating and issuing Form 16/16A.
- GST Compliance:
- Monthly and quarterly GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
- Reconciliation of GSTR data with books of accounts.
- Handling input tax credit and vendor GST compliance.
- Income Tax:
- Calculation and filing of income tax returns for the business.
- Handling advance tax payments and other related compliance.
- Annual Returns & Statutory Filings
- Preparation and filing of financial statements and annual returns.
- Coordination with auditors and consultants as needed.
- General Accounting:
- Complete knowledge of day-to-day accounting including ledger management, bank reconciliation, invoice generation, and expense tracking.
- Ensuring timely and accurate data entry and reporting.
- Keeping books updated and audit-ready at all times.
- Key Requirements: Proven experience in handling all statutory compliances independently.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting software (Tally ERP).
- Up-to-date with latest tax laws and statutory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
