Job Description

1. Procurement & Sourcing


  • Identify and source IT products such as laptops, desktops, printers, servers, storage devices, routers, firewalls, CCTV, and accessories.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Process purchase requests and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.
  • Track and maintain optimal stock levels for fast-moving IT items.


2. Vendor Management


  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships (OEMs, distributors, channel partners).
  • Conduct vendor evaluations based on pricing, quality, delivery, and after-sales support.
  • Manage vendor performance and resolve supply-related issues.


3. Pricing & Negotiation


  • Ensure competitive pricing through market research & multiple vendor comparison.
  • Negotiate best terms for procurement, including warranty, credit period, and bulk pricing.


4. Inventory & Logistic Coordination


  • Coordinate with stores, warehouse, and logistics for timely receipt of goods.
  • Cross-verify GRNs, invoices, delivery challans, and product serial numbers.
  • Ensure accurate inventory record updates in ERP or procurement software.


5. Documentation & Compliance


  • Maintain all procurement documents like POs, quote comparison sheets, contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policy, GST norms, and audit requirements.
  • Work closely with finance team for invoice clearance and vendor payments.


6. IT Product Knowledge


  • Strong understanding of IT products, configurations, models, and technical specs.
  • Ability to recommend equivalent or alternative products based on requirement.
  • Awareness of current IT market pricing and OEM product portfolio (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, etc.).


7. Cross-Functional Coordination


  • Collaborate with sales, service, projects, and technical teams for requirement analysis.
  • Support projects with timely procurement for customer orders or AMC needs.

 

Required Skills


  • Strong negotiation & vendor management skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT hardware, networking products, software licenses.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and coordination capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent procurement needs.


Qualification

  • Any Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business / Supply Chain / IT).
