Shopify Developer

We are looking for a dedicated Shopify Developer with strong full-stack capabilities to join our technical team. This role requires more than just theme customization; we need a developer capable of building custom Private Apps and complex integrations from scratch. You will bridge the gap between frontend aesthetics and backend functionality, utilizing React for dynamic interfaces and PHP for robust server-side logic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Custom App Development: Architect, build, and maintain Private Shopify Apps to solve specific business problems that off-the-shelf apps cannot address.
• Frontend Engineering: Develop high-performance, responsive storefronts using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/Tailwind), and React.js for interactive elements.
• Backend Integration: Build and manage middleware and APIs using PHP (Laravel/Symfony) to handle data processing, webhooks, and third-party integrations (ERPs, CRMs).
• API Management: Work extensively with Shopify’s Admin API (REST & GraphQL) and Storefront API to synchronize data and extend store capabilities.
• Theme Optimization: Customize themes at the code level to ensure maximum speed (Core Web Vitals), SEO performance, and mobile responsiveness.
• Debugging & Maintenance: Troubleshoot complex Liquid logic issues, app conflicts, and payment gateway integration errors.

Technical Requirements:

• Shopify Core: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Liquid templating, JSON templates, and Shopify CLI.
• Frontend Stack: Strong proficiency in React.js for building embedded app UIs or headless components. Solid grasp of vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
• Backend Stack: Extensive experience with PHP for server-side app development. Experience with database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL) is essential.
• App Ecosystem: Proven experience building Private/Custom Apps, understanding OAuth authentication flows, and using the Shopify App Bridge.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control and team collaboration.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Shopify Plus specific features (Scripts, Flow, Launchpad).
• Familiarity with Polaris (Shopify’s design system) to create native-feeling app interfaces.
• Knowledge of server management (AWS/DigitalOcean) for hosting private apps.
