Sr Data Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop
and optimize complex SQL queries in Oracle and SQL Server to ensure efficient
data retrieval.
- Improve query performance using indexing, partitioning, materialized views, and
query rewriting techniques.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries, ensuring optimal
execution plans.
- Develop and optimize data models to support analytical and operational
reporting.
- Ensure best practices for normalization and denormalization.
- Perform query execution plan analysis to reduce resource consumption.
- Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and reporting teams to
define requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on SQL best practices, indexing strategies, and
performance tuning.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to upskill teams in SQL optimization and
DSS best practices.
- Ensure data security by implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and
encryption
