Sr.Laptop Service Technician

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and resolve complex laptop hardware and software issues.
2. Perform advanced repairs (motherboard, chip-level, display, power issues).
3. Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and applications.
4. Lead and support junior technicians in troubleshooting tasks.
5. Handle bulk laptop deployments and system upgrades.
6. Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and system errors.
7. Manage data backup, recovery, and system security.
8. Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and warranty support.
9. Maintain service reports, documentation, and asset records.
10. Ensure adherence to SLA timelines and service quality standards.
11. Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks.
12. Provide technical guidance and user support when required.
13. Support software installations and enterprise tools.
14. Handle escalations and critical technical issues.
15. Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Required Skills

• Advanced laptop hardware troubleshooting
• Chip-level repair knowledge (preferred)
• Expertise in Windows OS and system configuration
• Knowledge of networking basics and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualification:

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Electronics, or related field

Experience

3–6 years of experience in laptop repair and IT hardware support
