Store Assistant

Job Description

A Store Assistantr is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing food items, beverages, and bar supplies, maintaining stock records, and ensuring proper inventory control.

Main Responsibilities1. Inventory Management

• Check daily stock of food items, beverages, and bar supplies.
• Maintain proper stock levels in the store.
• Update inventory records.

2. Receiving Goods

• Receive deliveries from suppliers.
• Check quantity and quality of items.
• Verify items with purchase orders and invoices.

3. Storage Management

• Store food, drinks, and bar materials properly.
• Follow FIFO (First In First Out) for food products.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper temperature in storage areas.

4. Issuing Materials

• Provide ingredients and bar items to kitchen staff and bartenders.
• Record issued items in the stock register.

5. Stock Checking

• Conduct daily or weekly stock counts.
• Report shortages or damaged items to the manager.

6. Coordination

• Work with kitchen staff, bartenders, and managers.
• Inform management when stock is low.
