Job Description

Job SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the company’s manpower needs. This role focuses on building a strong talent pipeline, improving hiring quality, and supporting business growth through effective recruitment strategies.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & HiringUnderstand hiring requirements from department heads
  • Source candidates through job portals, referrals, social media, and walk-ins
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews
  • Coordinate interview schedules with managers
  • Ensure timely closure of open positions
  • Talent Sourcing & BrandingBuild and maintain a strong candidate database
  • Promote employer branding through job posts and social platforms
  • Attend job fairs and local hiring drives when required
  • Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and consultants
  • Interview & Selection ProcessConduct HR interviews and evaluate candidate suitability
  • Verify candidate documents and background details
  • Assist in final offer discussions and salary negotiations
  • Issue offer letters and manage joining formalities
  • Onboarding & CoordinationSupport new hire onboarding and induction process
  • Coordinate with HR and operations for smooth joining
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports
  • Compliance & DocumentationEnsure recruitment process follows company policies
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and MIS reports
  • Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple hiring requirements
  • Good negotiation and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with job portals and recruitment tools
  • Preferred ExperienceExperience in retail, sales, operations, or startup hiring
  • Local hiring experience in Tamil Nadu is an advantage
  • Knowledge of HR policies and basic labor laws
