Job Description
Job SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the company’s manpower needs. This role focuses on building a strong talent pipeline, improving hiring quality, and supporting business growth through effective recruitment strategies.
- Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & HiringUnderstand hiring requirements from department heads
- Source candidates through job portals, referrals, social media, and walk-ins
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews
- Coordinate interview schedules with managers
- Ensure timely closure of open positions
- Talent Sourcing & BrandingBuild and maintain a strong candidate database
- Promote employer branding through job posts and social platforms
- Attend job fairs and local hiring drives when required
- Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and consultants
- Interview & Selection ProcessConduct HR interviews and evaluate candidate suitability
- Verify candidate documents and background details
- Assist in final offer discussions and salary negotiations
- Issue offer letters and manage joining formalities
- Onboarding & CoordinationSupport new hire onboarding and induction process
- Coordinate with HR and operations for smooth joining
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports
- Compliance & DocumentationEnsure recruitment process follows company policies
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and MIS reports
- Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple hiring requirements
- Good negotiation and coordination skills
- Familiarity with job portals and recruitment tools
- Preferred ExperienceExperience in retail, sales, operations, or startup hiring
- Local hiring experience in Tamil Nadu is an advantage
- Knowledge of HR policies and basic labor laws
