Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Taxi Service Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our newly launched taxi and ambulance taxi services. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing field teams, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that the services run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Manager Oversight:

• Hire, train, and manage Field Managers to ensure they meet their targets.
• Provide schedules and clear objectives for Field Managers to onboard new vendors and taxi drivers.
• Regularly follow up with Field Managers to ensure timely and efficient vendor signups and driver acquisition.

1. Vendor and Driver Management:

• Review and approve new vendors for onboarding after thorough evaluation.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper documentation, compliance, and adherence to company standards.
• Ensure timely activation of approved vendors and drivers in the system.
• Monitor driver status post-activation to ensure they are online and available for service.

1. Operational Coordination:

• Work closely with the General Manager to align on strategic goals and operational needs.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan campaigns aimed at increasing driver and vendor signups.
• Maintain communication with Field Managers to ensure continuous flow of new drivers and vendors.

1. Service Activation:

• Oversee the entire driver activation process, ensuring all systems and processes are in place for seamless operations.
• Follow up with drivers post-activation to monitor online/offline status and troubleshoot any issues.

1. Reporting and Analysis:

• Develop and maintain reports on the progress of field operations, vendor signups, and driver activations.
• Analyze operational data to improve efficiencies and service quality.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on operational metrics and challenges.

1. Team Leadership:

• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Mentor and develop Field Managers, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet targets.
• Implement training programs to improve field team effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the transportation or logistics sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of taxi or transportation services is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
