Techno-Commercial Engineer (CAM, Costing & Business Development – Machine Shop)

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional with strong knowledge in **CAM programming, machining cost estimation, and customer handling**. The candidate will be responsible for preparing machining quotations, reaching customers, generating new business, and converting enquiries into confirmed orders for the machine shop.

KEY RESPONBILITIES:

*Technical Responsibilities:

* Prepare CNC programs using CAM software (2D & 3D machining).

* Study customer drawings and 3D models.

* Evaluate manufacturability and process feasibility.

* Calculate machining cycle time and process planning.

* Prepare accurate cost estimation and quotations.

* Select tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.

* Support production and improve machining efficiency.

**Commercial & Sales Responsibilities:

* Reach new customers and develop business for the machine shop.

* Follow up enquiries and convert them into orders.

* Maintain good relationship with existing customers.

* Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules.

* Visit customers and understand their machining requirements.

* Identify new opportunities in automotive, casting, fabrication, and precision machining sectors.

* Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.

*Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Strong knowledge in CAM software (SolidCAM / Mastercam / NX / PowerMill).

* Experience in machining cost estimation and quoting.

* Good understanding of CNC turning, VMC, and HMC machining.

* Excellent communication and customer handling skills.

* Ability to negotiate and close orders.

* Good knowledge in reading 2D drawings and GD&T.

* Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.

* FRESHER–4 years experience in machine shop or manufacturing industry.
