Transport Manager

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and energetic professional to manage the dispatch and delivery of goods from multiple locations. This role is central to our daily operations and requires hands-on coordination with transporters, lorry drivers, mills, and customers.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the transport or logistics sector, is comfortable handling lorry drivers and on-ground operational challenges, and can manage time-sensitive deliveries under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate dispatch and delivery of goods from various locations
• Liaise with lorry drivers, transporters, mills, and customers on a daily basis
• Ensure timely loading, dispatch, and delivery of material
• Handle route planning, scheduling, and delivery follow-ups
• Manage on-ground issues such as delays, breakdowns, and last-minute changes
• Communicate delivery status clearly to internal teams and customers
• Support basic negotiation with transporters and drivers when required

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, or dispatch operations (mandatory)
• Ability to confidently handle and communicate with lorry drivers and transport staff
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
• High level of honesty, accountability, and reliability
• Comfortable with frequent phone coordination and field-oriented work
