Guest Service

-Greet guests politely and make them feel welcome

• Present menus and explain dishes, specials, and beverages clearly
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and punch them correctly into the POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation
• Check on guests during the meal and respond to requests professionally
• Handle guest feedback politely and escalate concerns when needed

Table & Floor Management-

• Set up tables as per service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and service areas
• Clear plates and reset tables efficiently for the next guests
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service flow

Hygiene & Compliance

• Follow grooming, hygiene, and food safety standards strictly
• Handle food and beverages responsibly
• Adhere to restaurant SOPs and safety guidelines

Teamwork

• Support fellow waiters during peak hours
• Communicate clearly with kitchen, cashier, and supervisors
• Participate in daily briefings and training sessions

Skills & Requirements

• Good communication skills (English / Tamil preferred)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand and work long shifts
• Customer-first mindset
• Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but freshers can be trained
