Admission Counsellor

An Admission Counselor guides prospective students through the college application process, acting as a liaison to provide program info, help with forms, conduct interviews, and recruit new students by attending events and building relationships, all while managing application reviews and working to meet enrollment goals. Key responsibilities involve student outreach, application evaluation, advising on academics/financial aid, and coordinating recruitment strategies, requiring strong communication, organization, and CRM skills. 

• Student Guidance: Counsel students on programs, requirements, and career paths, assisting with applications and documentation. 
• Application Management: Review applications, verify information, and collaborate with the admissions team. 
• Information Dissemination: Provide details on financial aid, scholarships, campus life, and academic programs. 
• Meeting with a student to discuss their interest in engineering and helping them complete the online application. 
• Reviewing an application file, noticing a missing transcript, and contacting the student to resolve the issue.
