The ATM Operations Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operation of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). This includes monitoring cash levels, coordinating cash replenishment, ensuring ATM uptime, handling reconciliations, and working with vendors or service providers to maintain optimal functionality and customer service standards.

• Key Responsibilities: ATM Cash Management:

• Monitor ATM cash levels and usage patterns.
• Coordinate with cash-in-transit (CIT) vendors for timely cash replenishment.
• Ensure optimal cash distribution across ATM network to prevent outages.

• ATM Monitoring & Uptime:

• Monitor the status of ATMs (online/offline, errors, hardware issues).
• Address technical faults by coordinating with IT or service vendors.
• Ensure quick resolution of downtime and service disruptions.
• Reconciliation & Reporting:
• Reconcile ATM transactions with core banking systems.
• Investigate discrepancies such as cash shortages or excess.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and cash usage reports.
• Compliance & Security:

• Ensure ATM operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor for fraud or suspicious activity and escalate accordingly.
• Support implementation of security protocols for cash handling and ATM access.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with ATM hardware and software providers for maintenance and upgrades.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as finance, IT, and security.
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in ATM operations, cash management, or banking operations.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Familiarity with ATM software systems, transaction switching, and core banking integration.
• Good communication and vendor management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
