Position SummaryThe Pastry Chef is responsible for creating, preparing, and presenting high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods. This role involves menu development, production planning, staff supervision, and maintaining food quality, consistency, and safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confections
• Develop and update dessert menus and seasonal offerings
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items
• Manage daily pastry production schedules and inventory
• Supervise, train, and mentor pastry cooks and assistants
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
• Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and control portioning
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu planning
