Location- Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Dehradun/Uttarakhand (Must be based locally or willing to relocate) (Its a WFH job but candidate need to visit site in near Dehradun Location)

Position Overview

We are seeking highly motivated Technical Sales Engineers who can effectively bridge deep engineering understanding with a results-driven sales approach. You will be the technical and commercial face of Argentium, responsible for driving the adoption and specification of our product line in the Indian market.

You will play a critical role in:

  • Market Expansion: Rapidly expanding our market footprint in your region.
  • Specification Driving: Working with consultants and project owners to get Argentium products specified into project designs (a key differentiator from transactional sales).
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with project directors, consultants, and purchase teams across the construction and hydro sectors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are specifically looking for an individual with proven sales experience in the construction products sector, ideally with a background in specialized materials:

  • Must Have: Direct sales or application experience with any of the following product categories: Construction Chemicals, Waterproofing, Grouts, Geotechnical/Rock Support products, or Heavy Construction Equipment.
  • Mindset: A field-confident, technical seller who is comfortable working on-site (often in remote locations) and speaking the language of a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Sales Cycle: Generate and qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through negotiation to final order fulfillment.
  • Technical Consulting: Conduct thorough site visits, analyze ground conditions and project requirements, and propose the optimal Argentium solution (SDA, rock bolts, mesh systems, etc.).
  • Proposal Management: Prepare accurate, detailed quotations, BOQs, and technical documentation in coordination with the internal technical and logistics teams.
  • Drive Specifications: Actively engage with consultants, architects, and government bodies
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed defined sales targets and expand Argentium's regional market share.

 

Desired Profile

  • Qualification: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering (Preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 1–5 years of progressive experience in technical sales or business development within the specialized construction product industry (as detailed in the Ideal Candidate Profile).
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of tunneling methods, slope stabilization techniques, or rockfall protection is a significant advantage.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and the necessary confidence for high-stakes, technical field sales.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken).
