Job Description: Account Executive – E-commerce Platform Reconciliation

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Executive with hands-on experience in E-commerce platform reconciliation. The role involves end-to-end reconciliation of sales, payments, commissions, returns, and Amazon FBA stock transfers across multiple marketplaces including Amazon, TataCliq, Myntra, Flipkart, and Nykaa.

Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Platform Reconciliation

·        Daily / weekly / monthly reconciliation of sales, settlements, and payouts from:

o   Amazon (FBA & FBM)

o   Flipkart

o   Myntra

o   TataCliq

o   Nykaa

·        Reconcile order-level data with settlement reports and bank credits.

·        Identify and resolve mismatches related to commissions, shipping fees, returns, cancellations, and penalties.

Amazon-Specific Responsibilities

·        Amazon FBA stock transfer reconciliation (inward, outward, lost, damaged, and reserved stock).

·        Reconcile FBA inventory reports with books and warehouse records.

·        Track reimbursement claims for lost/damaged inventory.

·        Verify Amazon fees including referral fee, FBA fee, storage fee, and ads charges.

Accounting & Reporting

·        Pass accounting entries in ERP/Tally for sales, returns, fees, and settlements.

·        Prepare monthly MIS reports for platform-wise sales, margins, and deductions.

·        Assist in month-end closing and audit support.

·        Maintain proper documentation for reconciliations and adjustments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

·        1–4 years of experience in E-commerce reconciliation and accounting.

·        Strong working knowledge of Amazon FBA reconciliation.

·        Experience with Flipkart, Myntra, TataCliq, and Nykaa portals.

·        Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

·        Experience with Tally / ERP systems.

·        High attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Preferred Skills

·        Knowledge of GST implications in e-commerce (TCS, returns, credit notes).

·        Experience handling high-volume SKU and order data.

·        Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
