Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Handle client and vendor communication via phone regarding accounts, billing, and payments
- Explain invoices, ledger balances, and payment terms clearly to customers
- Follow up on outstanding payments and support accounts receivable activities
- Coordinate with internal teams for billing, reconciliation, and account queries
- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting software
- Assist in preparation of reports such as ledgers, aging reports, and reconciliation statements
- Resolve customer account discrepancies through telephonic communication
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Required Skills & QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, ledgers, GST basics, invoicing)
- Strong verbal communication skills for telephonic client interaction
- Experience in accounts follow-ups or finance tele-calling preferred
- Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
