Job description Strategic Planning: Developing and executing a comprehensive Sales and Marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Team Leadership: Managing and leading the sales and marketing team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Sales Management: Develop and manage sales targets, quotas, and budgets to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded. Establish effective sales processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the sales team. Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Marketing Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (online and offline) to increase brand visibility and drive customer acquisition. Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve marketing goals within budgetary constraints. Oversee the development of marketing collateral, advertisements, and promotional materials. Revenue Growth: Setting and achieving sales targets and revenue goals for the country. Market Analysis: Conducting market research to identify opportunities and threats, and adjusting the sales strategy accordingly. Customer Relationships: Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and clients. Sales Forecasting: Creating sales forecasts and budgets for the country. Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with product knowledge and ensuring the sales team is well-informed. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate sales and marketing performance, trends, and insights to the executive team and stakeholders. Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and resolving any customer issues or concerns. Market Expansion: Identifying opportunities for market expansion and growth. Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and operations, to achieve sales goals. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact sales performance. Sales Training: Providing ongoing training and development for the sales team. Required Candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in sales and marketing, with a focus on leadership and strategic management. Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and CRM systems. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Results-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A Sales and Marketing Head is crucial for aligning the sales and marketing functions, driving revenue, and ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving organizational objectives. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, effective leadership, and hands-on execution to succeed in a competitive business environment.
