Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing channel partners for coffee machines across the assigned territory. The role requires strong experience in B2B & B2C sales, dealer management, corporate, and after-sales coordination to ensure high customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities


Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned area.
  • Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans to maximize market penetration.

Channel & Dealer Management

  • Appoint, manage distributors, dealers, and resellers.
  • Ensure proper product availability, visibility, and merchandising at dealer points.
  • Conduct regular dealer meetings, sales reviews, and training sessions.

B2B / Corporate

·       Generate business from corporate offices, cafés, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and institutions.

  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure smooth onboarding of clients.

Market Development & Brand Presence

  • Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and schemes.
  • Implement promotional activities, demos, and product launches in the region.

Service Coordination & Customer Satisfaction

  • Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure timely machine installation and support.
  • Handle escalations related to service, replacement, or customer complaints.
  • Ensure high customer retention and repeat business.

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Track sales performance, collections, inventory, and forecasts.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to management.



Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of home appliances
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Channel sales and distributor handling expertise
  • Target-driven with strong analytical skills
  • Good communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory



Experience Requirement

  • 5–7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in home appliances, or HoReCa equipment
  • Proven track record in area/territory sales management
