Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Merchant Banking to support transaction execution, financial analysis, regulatory documentation and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of capital markets and experience in financial advisory or investment banking.

Key Responsibilities

·      Assist in execution of merchant banking mandates including IPOs, rights issues, QIPs, and private placements.

·      Preparation of financial models, valuation analysis and investment memorandums.

·      Preparation of Draft offer documents, due diligence reports, and regulatory filings with SEBI and stock exchanges.

·      Conduct industry and company research to support advisory assignments.

·      Coordinate with legal advisors, auditors, registrars, and other intermediaries during transactions.

·      Support client communication and preparation of presentations for investors and management.

·      Monitor capital market developments and regulatory updates relevant to merchant banking activities.

Required Qualifications

•                        CS, CA, CFA or equivalent qualification.

•                        2–3 years of experience in category I merchant banking Company.

•                        Knowledge of financial modelling and valuation skills.

•                        Familiarity with SEBI regulations and capital market processes is preferred.

•                        Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools.

•                        Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

•                        Experience in IPO or capital market transactions.

•                        Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments.

•                        Ability to work in a fast-paced deal environment.
