Key Responsibilities

• Audit and maintain accurate records of OPD/IPD, Panchkarma, and patient admission to discharge documentation.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, prescribed medications, dosage, anupan, pathya, and apathya to prevent or improve health conditions.
• Counsel patients and their attendants regarding the nature of the disease, possible complications, diet, and lifestyle changes.
• Prepare and manage duty rosters for all staff members and other doctors.
• Monitor and assess the patient’s condition before, during, and after treatment, and ensure appropriate medical care plans are followed.
• Supervise and monitor medicines dispatched from the pharmacy, ensure proper handover to patients, and strictly follow the recall policy in coordination with the pharmacist.
• Recheck and verify all medicines issued by the pharmacist, especially when high-alert medicines, vish, upvish, or other critical medications are prescribed.
