Job Title: Backend Developer (Node.js)

Job Summary -

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, Express.js, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, and Sequelize ORM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing server-side applications, APIs, and database-driven systems to support scalable web applications.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js
• Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs
• Work with MySQL databases, including schema design, queries, and performance optimization
• Use Sequelize ORM for database modeling, migrations, and associations
• Manage and maintain databases using phpMyAdmin
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Ensure application security, data protection, and best coding practices
• Debug, test, and optimize application performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Required Skills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
• Solid understanding of MySQL relational databases
• Hands-on experience with Sequelize ORM
• Experience using phpMyAdmin for database administration
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and REST API architecture
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Basic understanding of security best practices in backend development
• Preferred QualificationsExperience with deployment and server environments (Linux, cloud platforms)
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with MVC or similar backend architectures
