Job Description


**Job Profile: Business Development Manager (BDM)**


**1. **Identifying New Business Opportunities:**

  - Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and potential clients.

  - Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company's market presence.


**2. **Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:**

  - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

  - Acquire new clients through effective networking, lead generation, and client meetings.


**3. **Sales and Revenue Generation:**

  - Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.

  - Actively participate in sales presentations, negotiations, and closing deals to meet revenue goals.


**4. **Proposal Development and Presentation:**

  - Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients.

  - Customize solutions to meet client needs and address their challenges.


**5. **Market Intelligence and Strategy:**

  - Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.

  - Develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with company goals.


**6. **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:**

  - Work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align business strategies.

  - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation and client satisfaction.


**7. **Budget Management:**

  - Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.

  - Ensure efficient use of resources to achieve maximum results.


**8. **Reporting and Analysis:**

  - Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales progress, and market analysis.

  - Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.


**9. **Negotiation and Contract Management:**

  - Negotiate terms and conditions with clients.

  - Manage contract negotiations and agreements.


**10. **Customer Feedback and Continuous Improvement:**

  - Gather customer feedback to improve services and offerings.

  - Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on client input and market trends.


**Qualifications and Skills:**

  - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is often preferred).

  - Proven experience in business development or sales.

  - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  - Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
