Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development professional – C&I Solar to drive Open Access and rooftop solar business across Delhi/NCR. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing solar opportunities with Commercial & Industrial clients.

This role requires strong market intelligence, consultative selling ability, and a deep understanding of solar solutions, PPAs, and regulatory frameworks.



Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the C&I Solar / Open Access segment
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, and industry outreach
  • Conduct client meetings, site assessments, and technical-commercial discussions
  • Structure and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and EPC contracts
  • Coordinate with internal technical, engineering, and finance teams for proposal development
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals and financial models
  • Drive complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure
  • Monitor regulatory developments related to Open Access and C&I solar
  • Build long-term relationships with corporate decision-makers (CFOs, Plant Heads, Energy Managers)
  • Achieve assigned revenue and capacity addition targets



Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Energy Management
  • 4–15 years of experience in Solar Sales, Open Access, EPC, or C&I Energy Solutions
  • Strong understanding of solar project development, PPAs, and state policies
  • Proven track record of closing C&I solar deals
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong ownership mindset
